Fairwinds Centre web The Nanoose Bay Lecture Series Economic Forum Presentation and discussion group that meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Ben's Lounge at 9:30am. The topics are wide ranging, from global to Canadian, and from philosophical to practical, but all of significant interest to the inquisitive mind.
 Sunday-at-four-logo-web Sunday @ 4 Presentation of cultural topics of diverse interest. The initial series (which started in November 2014) is for a “course” on ART. The lectures and visuals are (DVD format) prepared and produced professionally by leading experts in their field and will be offered free of charge to all residents of Nanoose Bay and their guests. Learn how to see and understand what is magical, technical and historic about multiple art forms. It is hoped that such an initiative will add another dimension to the community. Sunday @ 4 is sponsored by Fairwinds Corporation, Nanoose Community Services and Fairwinds Community Association.
Nanoose naturalists web Nanoose Naturalists This organization is dedicated to the study, enjoyment and preservation of our local bio-diverse ecosystems. The Club meets at 7:00pm in the Nanoose Bay Library, 2489 Nanoose Rd., on the second Thursday of every month except July and August. Outings are arranged on a regular basis.

al_anon Al-Anon Al-Anon is a non-profit, anonymous group of men and women who gather together to share their experience, strength, and hope in living with a loved-one, family member or friend who is afflicted with the disease of alcoholism. It is anonymous and there are no dues or fees. The group meets every Monday evening at 7:30 PM, at St. Anne/St. Edmund Anglican Church, on 407 Wembley Road in Parksville.
